Innovative Rigging

BRISBANE GIRLS GRAMMAR FACADE

CLIENT: BRISBANE GIRLS GRAMMAR

ARCHITECTS: M3 ARCHITECTURE

CONTRACTOR: WATPAC

Innovative Rigging were contracted to deliver a buildable solution based on the design intent proposed by the Architect for the western façade on the new year 7 Research Centre at Brisbane Girls Grammar. The permeable framework not only provides a protective second skin to the facade but also facilitates a calculated ratio of air flow and light permeating through to the interior space. The final design incorporates a subtle contrast of anodised colours, whilst the angular profile of the panels contributes to the rigidity and durability of the structure.
