Westfield North Lakes has expanded their retail precinct to include an alfresco dining area and cinema complex. To complement these spaces we installed a catenary lighting and trellis system that was tensioned between various facade structures. Over 500 metres of stainless steel cables spanning up to eighteen metres across form an abstract grid, providing suspension points to suit dozens of luminaires.
IGLU’s newest addition to Brisbane’s student living is located in the heart of Brisbane City. This is IGLU’s second Queensland development following their Kelvin Grove Apartments. Innovative Rigging was contracted to fabricate and install several greening elements, each designed to enhance the development’s break out spaces.

The Montessori building features a bold circular atrium to its center, mirroring the overall form of the building. A continuous run of Jakob Webnet consisting of individual panels was seamlessly laced together to serve as both fall protection and as a transparent barrier.

Brisbane Portside Wharf has seen residential expansion in recent years with the addition of Pinnacle Apartments. For this project IRS was contracted to deliver two vertical trellises, the first to the building’s entrance and the other on the northern facade.

Our scope at BOQ HQ further extended to the design and construct of a series of external trellis canopies. These structures provide staff shade to the north and south terraces that border the iconic Gasworks Plaza.
